Cashmere experience, a broader yarn palette
Srinagar began working with cashmere and extended that experience to merino wool, alpaca, mohair, silk and fine blends. The yarn is selected for the intended garment: handle, weight, stitch definition and construction are discussed during development.
Match gauge and structure to the design
Our capabilities span gauges 3–18. A fine-gauge garment and a textured cable knit require different yarn and construction decisions. We review those decisions on the sample rather than promising that every yarn will work in every gauge.
Approve the sample before the production run
In-house programming, first-garment development and quality control support the transition into production. The approved sample and agreed measurements become the reference for the order. Quantities start at 20 per style and colour, with at least 5 per size, subject to yarn requirements.

Do you manufacture only cashmere?
No. We also work with merino, alpaca, mohair, silk and fine blends, depending on the project and yarn suitability.
How is the final garment price established?
The final quote is confirmed on the sample and depends on yarn, garment weight, stitch construction and machine time.
